WAEC 2018 Result Is Out And How To Check It

The wait is finally over, and all the people that have been expecting their 2018 WAEC result can breathe a sigh of relief. The Head of National Office of the West Africa Examination Council, Olu Adenipekun, announced that results of WAEC 2018 were released on Wednesday, July 4.

According to him, almost half of all candidates who sat for WAEC 2018 exams had received credits or above in at least five subjects, including Maths and English. This means that out of 1,572,396 people 786,016 got five credits.

That said, if we only take English, then the pass rate rises to almost 55% (858,424 people). And if we just go by credits regardless of whether English and Maths are included, then it rises to almost 77%.
